JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - Jamestown Police are investigating an overnight stabbing at a home on Franklin Street.
Suspect Luis E. Melendez, 34, is believed to have stabbed a male occupant of the home several times, causing serious injury.
The victim was taken to WCA Hospital, where he is in serious but stable condition in the ICU.
The police have issued a Warrant of Arrest for the Melendez, who is a resident of Worcester Massachussetts. It is unknown if Melendez has fled the area.
