CLEVELAND, OH. (WIVB) - A man was sentenced Wednesday, in the stabbing death of 23-year-old Michael Ballard Jr. Anthony Williams, who was 25 at the time of the stabbing, was sent behind bars.
State Supreme Court Justice Penny Wolfgang sentenced Williams to 18 years in prison for his manslaughter plea.
Ballard, Jr. was stabbed multiple times on Woodlawn Avenue n October. Police investigated and learned the Williams was on a bus heading to Ohio. Officers contacted Cleveland Police, who checked their Greyhound bus station and found the wanted man.
