Man tries buying car with stolen ID

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo man will head to prison for trying to buy a car using stolen identification.

Ronald Williams, 39, was sentenced to three to six years Friday morning in Erie County Court for Grand Larceny and Forgery.

Williams will also receive drug counseling.

He pleaded guilty in December to using a social security card at several local auto dealerships under a false name.
