ISLIP, N.Y. (AP) - Police have arrested a Long Island man on charges of offering to pay a 13-year-old boy to have sex with him.
Suffolk County police say the 42-year-old man is scheduled to be arraigned Monday. The charges include child endangerment.
Investigators say the man was sitting in his car outside a Central Islip convenience store Sunday. They say he called the boy over and offered him money to have sex with him.
Police say the boy gave police a description of the car and license plate information.
