BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A registered sex offender who somehow got a youth mentoring job with the Urban League, has been charged with the sexual assault of a boy in Buffalo.
Police say the Buffalo Urban League hired 44-year-old Phillip T.
Young as a family caseworker in 2000, unaware of his sex offender
status.
Young lost his job and served a year in jail after a 2006
arrest, for making sexual overtures to a teen he brought home. But,
police say he reconnected with a family he previously served and
molested a 13-year-old boy, last August.
