Police: BAC of NC woman was more than 2X legal limit

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A North Carolina woman is facing Leandra's Law charges, after a minor hit and run accident on I-90 westbound.

The crash happened just before exit 54, for Route 400, around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Kimberly A. Ricks, 37, of Greensboro, allegedly fled the crash scene while driving her 11-year-old son.

According to State Police, Ricks failed several roadside sobriety checks and had a BAC of .22%, more than double the legal limit.

Ricks is now facing felony Aggravated DWI, misdemeanor DWI, and traffic infractions.

The other vehicle involved in the crash was driven by 47-year-old Paul Millich Jr. Millich was allegedly driving a pick up truck, when Ricks' car side swiped his truck.
