BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo pastor, who police say confessed in a cold murder case dating back more than a decade, faced a city court judge today.

31-year-old Jose Figueroa is charged in the January 1998 shooting death of 17-year-old Alex Martinez on Grant Street.

Police say Figueroa lived with the secret and became a pastor until he recently realized cold case detectives were closing in on him.
