HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) - A woman a state trooper says he saw injecting herself with heroin while driving down Grand Island Boulevard has been re-arrested on new charges.
At the time of her arrest on August 21st, 26-year-old Ashley Alba of Hamburg allegedly gave police her sister's name. State Police say she was injecting drugs into her leg while driving in Grand Island and charged her with DWAI by drugs. After police ran a fingerprint check, they say they discovered Ashley had lied about who she was and arrested her Friday on new charges of criminal impersonation and falsifying business records.
She was taken to the Niagara County Jail on $10,000 bail.
