BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Here's an update about sensitive medical papers found in a DMV dumpster.

According to Erie County Clerk Kathy Hochul, the files have been transferred and secured in the County Mental Health Offices. The records belonged to the Avalon Center, a clinic in Clarence for western New Yorkers with eating disorders, which closed back in November.

Hochul says her office is cooperating with the State Attorney General in the investigation.
