Retrial granted in murder case

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - In Niagara County, a jury will be selected for the retrial of a murder case, dating back decades.

Robie Drake, 44, was found guilty of the 1981 shooting deaths of two North Tonawanda High School students.

Earlier this year, a federal appeals court granted Drake a new trial, after ruling that at least one prosecution witness lied on the stand.
