TSA: knife found in carry-on bag

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Transportation Security Administration says they discovered an eight-inch knife in a woman’s carry-on bag, Tuesday morning.

A woman was arrested at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, after the TSA says the knife was found in the Buffalo woman’s bag. The TSA says she voluntarily surrendered the knife to officials.

The woman was scheduled to be on a Atlanta-bound flight, but the NFTA Police ran a check and arrested her on an outstanding warrant. The arrest made no impact on airport operations.
