ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - An Orchard Park woman is expected in court next Friday, after allegedly driving drunk and without an ignition interlock device, despite having been court ordered to use one. The Erie County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Bethany Wool was arrested in October.
Wool was stopped by West Seneca Police for allegedly driving erratically. Wool is accused of operating the vehicle without the ignition interlock device, after being court ordered to do so at a February 2012 sentencing for a previous DWI.
Wool is charged with feloniously driving while intoxicated, circumvention of ignition interlock device and failure to stay within lane of road. If convicted, Wool could face a maximum prison sentence of four years.
