Accusation leads to child porn arrest

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - While investigators looked into an accusation that a Buffalo man molested a minor female, they say they found thousands of images and videos of child pornography in his home.

Kevin Baron, 42, has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography. The complaint was called into the Erie County Department of Social Services, and the department was told the minor female had been shown child pornography.

The FBI's Cyber Crimes Task Force searched Baron's home on March 9th and discovered two DVD discs containing thousands of images and videos, three of which are known to have been made outside of New York.

Baron is being detained, pending a hearing in April.
