BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A man accused of dragging a dog behind his SUV in Buffalo is no longer fighting to keep the animal.
Daniel Delaney, Jr. has signed "Gotti" over to the SPCA. The two-year-old pit bull is healing nicely and is ready for adoption.
His previous owner is charged with animal cruelty. In court, Delaney told the judge he had forgotten he had tied Gotti to his bumper before driving away. Witnesses told News 4 it took Delaney blocks to bring his SUV to a stop.
For more information, you can call the Erie County SPCA at 875-7360.
