Alleged drunk driver leaves crash scene

MIDDLEBURY, N.Y. (WIVB) - An alleged drunk driver is accused of a fleeing the scene of a one-vehicle accident on foot, Sunday.
State Police say 29-year-old Howard J. Roll, of Oakfield, was driving at the time of a one-car crash on Vernal Road, near Dale Road, in Middlebury. He was located a short time after the crash, at a residence on Bank Road.
Roll submitted a breath test at the police station, that revealed a .10 percent BAC. Roll was charged with DWI, moving from lane unsafely and failure to notify DMV of an address change.
He was taken to Wyoming County Jail and is set to appear in court at a later date.
