AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police have caught the man they say stole several Dyson vacuum cleaners.

Amherst Police received numerous tips from the public and information from Lancaster Police and the Erie County Sheriff's Office. Police say Chuck Echevarria stole over $1,700 in merchandise from a Sheridan Drive store in Amherst.

The 45-year-old was already in custody on unrelated charges.
