BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - UB Police have arrested a Cheektowaga man in connection with an incident on South Campus where a player allegedly pulled out a gun during a pickup basketball game.
Damon Erving, 23, was arrested Thursday and charged with second degree menacing for pulling out what appeared to be a handgun in the Clark Hall gymnasium on Monday. Police say they believe Erving actually pulled out a BB gun during the pickup basketball game.
Erving also faces charges of unlawful possession of a weapon on school grounds.
He is not a student or affiliated with the university. UB Police say Erving has been banned from any UB campus.
