KILLBUCK, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Killbuck man was arrested in the southern tier last week, and an FBI fingerprint hit revealed he was wanted in Louisiana.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office says that 28-year-old Thomas Bower Jr. gave deputies several false names during an animal cruelty investigation.
His arrest revealed that he was wanted by an alias, by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana.
In Louisiana, Bower Jr. was wanted for allegedly failing to give community notification and failure to appear in person for periodic registration, as a result of a felony sex offense conviction.
Bower Jr. is being held in Cattaraugus County Jail without bail, pending extradition to Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.
