ATTICA, N.Y. (WIVB) - An Attica man was arrested and charged with felony DWI under Leandra's Law.
Attica Police say on Wednesday, 46-year-old Zachary Pope was observed by officers swerving in his lane and they pulled him over at Main and Prospect. Authorities say Pope was intoxicated and had a child in the vehicle.
Pope was arrested and charged with felony DWI under Leandra's Law, DWI, DWAI by drugs, consumption of alcohol in a vehicle, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, and criminal impersonation.
After being arraigned, Pope was taken to the Wyoming County Jail on $5,000 bail.
