ALDEN, N.Y. (WIVB) - An Attica man was arrested Thursday night in the Town of Alden following a traffic stop.
Police say Kevin Ward, 48, ran a red light at the intersection of Broadway around 8:30 p.m. Ward was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated after failing several standardized field sobriety tests.
After being transported to the State Police of Clarence, he provided a chemical test where his BAC resulted in .08 percent. Along with DWI, Ward was charged with Failure to Keep Right, Consumption of Alcohol within a Motor Vehicle and an expired Inspection.
He was released and is due to appear at the Town of Alden Court on January 23.
