NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - An attorney for one of the teenagers charged in the death of a 5-year-old girl in Niagara Falls wants his client to be tried separately.

The attorney for 18-year-old Tyler Best wants his client tried separately. Best is accused of helping 17-year-old John Freeman, Jr. dispose of Isabella Tennant's body last August.

Best is charged with felony tampering with evidence. Freeman faces a second-degree murder charge.
