BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A bank employee won't serve any time in jail for stealing nearly $30,000 while working at Citizens Bank.
Michael Garcia, 39, was sentenced to six months home detention and three years supervised release for bank larceny on Monday. As a branch manager, Garcia pocketed cash on multiple occasions between April 2010 and March 2011.
A federal judge also ordered Garcia to pay back the $28,500 he stole.
