AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Bank surveillance cameras got a clear image of the suspect police say made off with cash in a Tuesday afternoon robbery.
Amherst Police say the man entered the Key Bank at Main and Springville around 3:40 p.m. and handed the clerk a note demanding cash. The man is described as black, 5'9" and 190 pounds. He was wearing eyeglasses, a light yellow or cream-colored short sleeve button down shirt, dark pants, and a dark cap.
After he fled the bank, the suspect took off on foot towards Kenmore Avenue. Detectives are looking for any information or witnesses who were in the area who may have seen anything suspicious. If you can help, call Amherst Police at 689-1336.
