AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Former Sabres player Matthew Barnaby has been sentenced in a domestic incident with his estranged wife.
Barnaby was ordered to perform 500 hours of community service and undergo more counseling, and if he cooperates the charges could be dropped.
In addition, the judge issued orders of protection to keep Barnaby away from “offensive” conduct against his estranged wife, and keeping him away from her boyfriend.
Thirty-eight-year-old Matthew Barnaby pleaded guilty in May to several charges following the incident in Amherst involving his estranged wife and her boyfriend.
