AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - It's been exactly one month since a chaotic scene unfolded in the parking lot of a normally calm, suburban shopping center.
After weeks of searching for the wanted suspect, 24-year-old Dadrequez Hayne of Syracuse has been found by police.
Officers found and arrested the thief who is accused of slashing two loss prevention officers when they confronted a group of shoplifting suspects outside the mall.
Hayne's faces several charges including assault and robbery.
