BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 47-year-old Buffalo man will be arraigned Friday morning on charges of felony DWI, first degree aggravated unlicensed operation, circumvention of ignition interlock device, and failure to obey a red light.
On November 23, Jerome Ridgeway was allegedly driving while intoxicated. He was stopped by police after he reportedly failed to stop at a red light causing him to almost hit a police vehicle.
During the traffic stop, it was discovered his license was revoked due to a prior aggravated felony DWI and his vehicle did not have the required ignition interlock device.
Ridgeway was previously convicted of felony DWI on January 4, 2006 and of aggravated felony DWI on September 4, 2009.
He could face up to seven years in prison if convicted.
