Buffalo shooting leaves one dead

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Police responded to an early morning shooting on Sunday around 2:50 a.m. leaving one man dead and the other wounded.

The 24-year-old males were apparently shot in a vacant lot near Genesee Street and Jefferson Avenue.

Both victims were taken to ECMC where one was treated and released from the hospital.

The other male was declared dead on arrival.

Buffalo Police and Homicide Squad detectives continue to investigate this case.
