GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Grand Island man is facing a DWI charge after losing control of his vehicle on I-190 in Buffalo Sunday.
State Police say 20-year-old Jason Rinard’s vehicle spun across three lanes of traffic, before coming to a rest in a snowbank on the right shoulder of the road, facing the wrong way.
According to state police, Rinard was drunk. A breath test resulted in an alleged BAC of .15 percent, nearly two times the legal BAC.
Rinard’s arrest was the state police’s only DWI arrest during the saturation patrol coinciding with the Buffalo Bills home game.
