NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - As a local boxer recovers from a brutal beating the search for his attacker continues.

The Seneca Niagara Casino has canceled Nick Casal's Friday night fight event scheduled for June 29th. Casal was set to step in the ring, but he was savagely attacked with a golf club in the Town of Niagara this past weekend and is now recovering from head wounds.

No arrests have been made though police do have a person of interest in the case.
