ERIE, Pa. (AP) - A northwestern Pennsylvania man has been charged with criminal homicide in the death of a man whose body was found in the backyard of an Erie home.
Forty-eight-year-old Robert Quick was also charged Monday night with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering, theft, robbery and other counts.
Police allege that he struck 35-year-old Aderian Page Sr. with an aluminum baseball bat on Feb. 22, took $500 from him and dragged his body to a neighbor's yard.
Police and prosecutors told WSEE that white cat hairs found on the victim were among the trace evidence from the autopsy that helped lead to an arrest.
Quick remained behind bars pending an April 26 hearing; a listed number for him couldn't be found Tuesday and it was unclear whether he had an attorney.
