LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) - A suspended Niagara County Sheriff's deputy has pleaded guilty to child endangerment in a rape case dating back to 1999 when he was a juvenile.
Special prosecutor Aaron Glaser tells News 4 that Kevin Rohde has been granted youthful offender status under terms of a plea deal, and will receive a conditional discharge at sentencing on April 25th.
The outcome does not preclude Rohde's return to duty as a Niagara County deputy, but that decision lies with Sheriff Jim Voutour.
