NEWFANE, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is releasing a surveillance camera image Friday, hoping to gather more information about a Bank of America robbery in Newfane earlier this month.

The sheriff's office released an image of the robbery suspect's pants pocket. They are looking to identify the type of pants worn by the suspect, and looking for anyone who possibly observed the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 30 and 35 years old, wearing black sunglasses, a black leather jacket, a black skull cap, and dark-colored pants. He is around 5'7" tall and weighs between 170- to 180-pounds. The suspect escaped on foot, and did not display a weapon.

The sheriff's office is asking anyone who saw the suspect to contact Investigator Wick at 716-438-3342.
