Crash leads cops to drug arrest

BELFAST, N.Y. (WIVB) - A commercial vehicle was involved in a crash in the Town of Belfast during mid December, and now the driver is facing drug charges.

State Police say 53-year-old Terry L. Burt, of Cuba, was the driver in the personal injury accident. Burt is now charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance in non-original container and traffic violations.

Burt will return to Town of Belfast Court on January 8th.
