CLARENDON, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police and the Orleans County Major Crimes Taskforce raided a home on Friday in Clarendon, arresting a father, mother and son they say were growing marijuana inside their residence.
David Thomas Costrino, 51, Marcia June Costrino, 64, and Austin Grant Costrino, 27, were each charged with second degree criminal possession of marijuana after authorities say they found a sophisticated indoor marijuana growing operation in the family's basement. Investigators say the plants were grown in the basement and dried, weighed and packaged for sale on the second floor of the home.
Besides the growing plants, authorities seized a large amount of harvest marijuana, two long guns and a .380 caliber handgun.
