TOWN OF CONCORD, NY (WIVB) - Erie County Sheriff's Deputies pulled over a vehicle on Boston Springville Rd. in the Town of Concord, early Sunday morning, after allegedly observing the car driving on the wrong side of the road.
Deputies say the driver, 53 year old William Meyer of Springville, appeared intoxicated. A chemical breath test revealed that Meyer's blood alcohol level was .20%, over twice the legal limit.
Meyer has been charged with aggravated DWI and other vehicle and traffic charges. He was released to a third party on uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Concord Court at a later date.
This is the 70th DWI arrest by the Erie County Sheriff's Department this year.
