Deputies say drunk man put car in ditch

CASTILE, N.Y. (WIVB) - Wyoming County Sheriff's deputies say a drunk driver put his car into a ditch in the Town of Castile around 4 in the morning on Sunday.

Deputies were called to the scene on Hathaway Road and found 25-year-old Michael Button of Perry near his vehicle. Button was taken into custody after failing field sobriety tests and his vehicle was towed. He is charged with DWI, driving with a .08 BAC or higher, failure to keep right and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Button will appear in court in December.
