PIKE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Wyoming County man was arrested after deputies say he struck a 3-year-old child during a domestic incident.

Richard Davenport, 36, of Pike was arrested Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. on charges of endangering the welfare of a child and second degree harassment. Wyoming County Sheriff's deputies say Davenport struck the child at a home on Main Street.

He was released to answer charges later this week.
