BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Deputies arrested a Buffalo woman they say was attacking another woman with a brick on Elmwood Avenue.
Audra Hicks, 43, was taken into custody around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday by Erie County Sheriff's deputies on patrol with the Buffalo Strike Force. Deputies say they saw Hicks fighting with a 30-year-old woman in the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue and Hicks was using a brick to bash the victim over the head. The victim suffered a head laceration.
Hicks is charged with second degree assault and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon. She was taken to the Holding Center pending arraignment.
