Driver allegedly had .17 percent BAC

GAINESVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Silver Springs resident is accused of having more than twice the legal BAC, when stopped on ST-19 in Gainesville last week.
State Police say 28-year-old Billie J. Broman was stopped, after a report was called into 911 for an erratic vehicle with a description that matched Broman’s vehicle. Police say Broman failed roadside sobriety tests and a breath test revealed a .17 percent.
Broman was charged with DWI. Broman will answer charges in Gainesville Town Court at a later date.
