PERRY, N.Y. (WIVB) - One man was arrested after investigation of an accident in Perry revealed the driver was driving while intoxicated.
A deputy arrived to the scene of the accident on Silver Lake Rd. and spoke to the driver.
He was told by Joseph Mann he was heading north on Silver Lake Rd. and lost control of his vehicle.
His car proceeded to go off the roadway before coming to a rest in a ditch causing the vehicle to overturn.
Mann was treated for minor injuries after being taken to WCCH.
He is charged with DWI, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 1st degree. He was also ticketed for moving from a lane unsafely, unlicensed operator, and refusal to take a breath test.
After being released from WCCH, he was arraigned in the Town of Perry Court.
Mann is being held in Wyoming County Jail on $15,000 cash bail.
