ALDEN, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police say witnesses stopped a drunk man from driving out of a parking lot in Alden after he backed into another vehicle.
State Police were called to the lot around midnight on Thursday and arrested James Andrzejewski, 51, of Alden. Witnesses prevented him from leaving the scene after he backed his truck into a car. He's been charged with felony DWI due to a prior DWI conviction and unsafe backing.
Andrzejewski refused to provide a breath sample. He's due back in court later this month.
