CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police of Clarence made two DWI arrests Sunday morning within just about ten minutes of one another.
The first was made at 1:20 a.m. after troopers observed the vehicle driven by an East Amherst woman make an improper left turn. The 33-year-old woman was turning onto Transit Rd. in Clarence when she was stopped. Troopers found her to be intoxicated after conducting roadside sobriety tests.
The East Amherst woman was processed at SP Clarence and provided a breath test where her BAC read as .16%. She is due to appear in the Town of Clarence Court later in February.
The second DWI arrest was made at 1:33 a.m. in the Town of Lancaster when a 27-year-old man failed to keep right.
Following a traffic stop on William Street, he conducted roadside sobriety tests and was found to be intoxicated. He was processed at SP Clarence where he provided a breath test resulting in a BAC of .11%.
The 27-year-old man is due to appear in the Town of Lancaster Court at a later date.
