SHERIDAN, N.Y. (WIVB) - An elderly man is accused of sexually abusing a four-year-old girl in the Town of Sheridan.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says 77-year-old Arnold D. Blakely, of Fredonia, is charged with four counts of sexual abuse and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Reports of abuse were made on October 15th and after an investigation, Blakely and his counsel appeared in Town of Sheridan Court on Tuesday. He was arrested and posted a bail bond of $20,000 cash or $40,000 property.
