TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A former middle school baseball coach pleaded to charges Thursday, over inappropriate and sexually suggestive text messages sent to juveniles.
The District Attorney’s Office says 29-year-old Robert Leary pleaded to two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of aggravated harassment. Between June 2011 and December 2011, the former Ken Ton coach allegedly sent the messages to three juveniles and requested sexual images from them.
Leary faces a maximum prison sentence of one year in prison when he is sentenced in October.
