CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) - With highs in the 50s this past Sunday, motorcyclists took to the roadways of western New York. But troopers say one man should have left his ride in the garage.
State Police arrested Joseph Cartonia of Buffalo after seeing his inspection sticker was expired while he drove alongside a trooper on the I-90 in Cheektowaga around 1:30 p.m. On top of the expired sticker, police say Cartonia's driver's license was suspended for failing to answer a summons and he was wanted on a warrant for housing violations in the City of Buffalo.
Cartonia was taken to the Erie County Holding Center on $5,000 bail. He was also issued several traffic tickets.
