NIAGARA FALLS, NY (WIVB) - Niagara Falls police are investing a run of armed robberies at 7-Eleven stores.

Police report they aren’t sure the robberies are connected but three of the convenience stores have been held up over the space of three days.

This past Monday two men wearing black winter coats with hoods and wearing ski masks entered the 7-Eleven on Niagara Street. One of them men pulled out a handgun and demanded cash.  The men got away with about $100, some cigarettes, lottery tickets and candy.

On Tuesday the store at 1504 Pine Avenue was struck.  A man who was about 6 feet, 2 inches tall threatened the clerk with a knife.  The suspect may have been under the influence of drugs.  The suspect got away with cash and cigarettes.

The third robbery took place at a 7-Eleven store at 402 Niagara Street. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a black jacket and an American flag bandana covered his face.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Niagara Falls Police detectives at 286-4553.
