SLOAN, N.Y. (WIVB) - A convicted felon pleaded guilty on Tuesday to stealing over $44,000 from her elderly grandfather.
Jennifer Furan, 26, of Sloan could face a maximum sentence of three-and-a-half to seven years behind bars after pleading guilty to third degree grand larceny. For five months, Furan forged checks made out to herself, emptying her grandfather's bank account in the process.
She will be sentenced in January. This is her second felony.
