BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A convicted felon who had a handgun and crack cocaine in his rental car could be going back to jail.
The Erie County District Attorney says 44-year-old Harold Howard was convicted Tuesday of second degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The items were found when Howard was pulled over by state troopers on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo in November of 2009. He had previously been convicted of first degree attempted assault.
Howard faces a max sentence of 15 years in jail when he is sentenced on October 30th.
