Five arrested in Jamestown drug raid

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - Monday afternoon, Jamestown Police investigating narcotics in the city arrested five people at a home on Buffalo Street.

Police and SWAT members executed a search warrant around 1 p.m., finding a large quantity of heroin, crack cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia inside the home. Authorities say the street value of the drugs is around $10,000.

All five arrested have been charged with two counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. They are:

  • Russell Balles, 33, of Jamestown
  • Joseph McNamara, 28, of Jamestown
  • Mark Dzielski, 27, of Brocton
  • Christopher McMillen, 21, of Youngsville, PA
  • Ryan Baker, 20, of Jamestown

Balles was additionally charged with one count of criminal nuisance. All five are expected to be arraigned Tuesday morning.
