HINSDALE, N.Y. (WIVB) - The forgery case against a Cattaraugus County SPCA animal cruelty investigator will be turned over to a special prosecutor.
Aanimal rights activists protested Wednesday at Hinsdale Town Court, where a felony hearing was postponed for 38-year-old Phillip Barrett. Barrett is accused of forging a rabies vaccination certificate in 2008, when the Cattaraugus SPCA ran a spay-neuter shelter in Hinsdale.
